Carolyn Wonderland is the real deal, the complete talent, a triple threat with diverse songwriting skills, immensely soulful vocals, and guitar goddess status - at age 37 she has a pedigree in this business that's hard to match. A bit of a renegade, she likes to incorporate elements of Blues, Country, Swing, Zydeco, Surf, Gospel, Soul, and some nights, maybe even a Cumbia into the musical mix. Carolyn spends a lot of playing time in the live music capital of the world, Austin, TX but also tours with regularity. She's a consummate professional, pouring her all into every performance she gives be it in front of a festival crowd or playing a gospel brunch raising money for local Austin based charities. Carolyn has graced the stages of High Sierra three times in the past and participated in our Sunday Gospel brunch as well as a troubadour session. If you haven't yet seen her perform live prepare you're in for quit a treat.
