"SuperSunBakedCaliforniaRootsRock"
Chico, CA's Mother Hips have been mining the roots of the guitar-oriented American musical landscape (and more specifically the dusty roads that lead in and out of California) for almost two decades led by co-founders Tim Bluhm (vocals/guitar) and Greg Loicano (guitar/vocals). They have a new record out entitled Pacific Dust which has pumped new excitement into the band and its loyal fanbase. Tim Bluhm had been busy producing records (for Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers), releasing his own solo record (House Of Bluhm) and working on his duo project, The Skinny Singers with Jackie Greene, creating a Mother Hips centered music event in Big Sur, CA (Hipnic), so it's a pleasure to see him poised to take the Mother hips to the next level of the already epic journey together.
