Family Zone

High Sierra is passionate about family and we want to make the festival experience memorable for all ages. We invite children and big kids alike to enjoy and participate in a myriad of engaging activities and performances taking place all weekend long.

Don’t miss out on any Family Zone activities! Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can expect and where to find it.

Family Camp

We try to create a quieter and more kid-friendly environment in the eastern end of the Shady Grove campground (quieter late at night, louder early in the morning). If you’re interested in camping in Family Camp, let your shuttle driver or parking attendant know and you’ll be pointed in the right direction. An on-site vehicle pass is required to park in Family Camp. Visit Camping and Parking for more information.

Rockin’ Nannies

The Rockin' Nannies is honored to return to High Sierra for our 11th time.  We will be hosting our Rockin' Slumber party from 8pm - 4am in the Tulsa E. Scott building each night, for schoolage children age 6 and up.  We supply activities, snacks, movies, and TLC in a controlled, fun environment while moms and dads enjoy some "grown up" time. Rates are $25 an hour for the first child and $15 an hour for each additional sibling. Reservations should be made before the festival starts. Pre-registration is via email at therockinnannies@gmail.com.  We are bringing extra Superstar nannies for babies and children at their own camps.  Please visit our webpage for the breakdown of prices; https://therockinnannies.wixsite.com/mysite

The Rockin' Nannies crew will be waiting to say hello at our Meet and Greet on Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at our booth across from the Kids' Area.  Again the best time to register is ahead of time, so reach out now as we expect to sell out.   We will have our booth open from 10am - 1pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to answer questions.

They are entirely made up of volunteers who donate their skills to entertain and embrace every chance to share the magic of circus arts.  They are bringing games, clown school, and popcorn to the Family Zone daily!
