High Sierra is getting closer every day - and one of the best things to look forward to are the creative and wonderful Playshops where different artists riff on a theme and put together an intimate show worth the price of admission in itself.

We have the first Playshops confirmed and ready to go for your listening pleasure!

 

50 YEARS IN THE REARVIEW w/LEBO & FRIENDS (and more friends) 
1973 was a banner year in music that will provide a treasure trove of options for Lebo & Friends to pull from as they bring you a set of songs from this prolific year in music.


SILLY LOVE SONGS:  Love hurts, love is a battlefield, love is all ya need....there are so many songs about love! Simon Kurth and his band Mescalito put together a joyous celebration of Silly Love Songs, with a fun loving cast of special guests featuring members of BootJuice, Lebo and Friends, Fruition, Steve Poltz and more. 


NASHVILLE SKYLINE: Singer/songwriter Steve Poltz moved to Nashville from San Diego 7 years ago and immersed himself with the culture there and as you might imagine has made many friends there. He's co-written many songs with the likes of Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Lindsay Lou, The Wood Brothers and more. Poltz's playshop will focus on the songs he's co-written in his time in Nashville.


WAKE OF THE FLOOD: Jerry's Middle Finger usually draw from the extensive songbook that the Jerry Garcia Band covered but here they will cover the Grateful Dead's sixth studio album, Wake Of The Flood album in its entirety, celebrating 50 years since its release in 1973. 


CLASSIC ALBUM HOUR: HOUSES OF THE HOLY
So much of what Led Zeppelin did is shrouded in myth and legend, including HOUSES OF THE HOLY. Recorded in 1973, many songs from this record became staples of Led Zeppelin's live show in the 1970s. Join house band Mescalito and their fearless group of special guests featuring New Monsoon, Lebo, Fruition, and more on an EPIC sonic journey as they venture over the hills and far away to the houses of the holy!
